30 September 2015: U.S. Soccer Federation president Sunil Gulati hands the U.S. Open Cup championship trophy to Sporting Kansas City captain Matt Besler (center). The Philadelphia Union hosted Sporting Kansas City at PPL Park in Chester, Pennsylvania in the 2015 Lamar Hunt United States Open Cup Final. The game ended in a 1-1 tie after extra time.
