17 October 2014: The game was played under newly installed LED lights, the first outdoor venue in the Atlantic Coast Conference to feature them. The Duke University Blue Devils hosted the University of North Carolina Tar Heels at Jack Katz Stadium in Durham, North Carolina in a 2014 NCAA Division I Field Hockey match. UNC won the game 1-0.
