03 September 2006: John Force was absolutely giddy when he climbed out of his car after defeating fellow Funny Car driver Tommy Johnson, Jr. for the $100,000 Skoal Shootout Championship. The event was one of four special "races within a race" at the 52nd Annual NHRA U.S. Nationals held over the Labor Day weekend at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis.
