December 7, 2009 From left: St. Louis Blues defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo (28), Colorado Avalanche right wing Chris Stewart (25), and St. Louis Blues goalie Chris Mason (50) in the third period as Stewart couldn't put on the brakes and crashed into Mason after bringing the puck down and shooting from point blank range -- and missing. The St. Louis Blues hosted the Colorado Avalanche at the Scottrade Center in downtown St. Louis on Monday December 7, 2009. The Avalanche defeated the Blues, 4-0.
