Jul 08, 2007 - Las Vegas, USA - The 38th World Series of Poker main event, being held at the Amazon Room at the Rio Suites and Casino, Las Vegas. Towards the end of a month and a half of the poker competitions that make up the World Series of Poker, comes the Texas Hold' Em no-limit main event with an expected 6000 or more entrants. The initial stage is played over four days with between roughly 1200-1800 contestants per day. The buy-in for the tournament is 0,000. Last year's winner Jamie Gold received a total of 2,000,000 for reaching 1st place. There are around 250 tables in the main room, with each holding up to 10 players.
