24 September 2006: Members of Michigan State's football team and marching band guard the school's logo on the 50 yard line to prevent the Fighting Irish from planting their flag there. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were able to beat the Michigan State Spartans with a final score of 37-40 on Saturday September 24, 2006.
