July 1, 2010 Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Alcides Escobar (21, left) and Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Rickie Weeks (23) had a miscommunication as each thought the other was going to make the easy catch on a pop fly by St. Louis Cardinals shortstop Felipe Lopez to shallow centerfield in the eighth inning. Lopez singled on the play. The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 5-0 in the second game of a four-game homestand at Busch Stadium in downtown St. Louis, MO on Friday July 2, 2010.
