20 December 2014: Carolina's Cam Ward pulls his own hockey mask off to stop play. The ploy nullified a potential Rangers' goal. The Carolina Hurricanes played the New York Rangers at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina in a 2014-15 National Hockey League game. Rangers won the game 3-2 after winning the shoot out 1-0 after overtime.
