January 04, 2014: Army rookie goaltender Tanner Creel (30) made his collegiate debut and would come out during the second period with a gash to the chin that required 9 stitches. He would return to start the third period during a NCAA hockey game between the Mercyhurst Lakers and the Army Black Knights at Tate Rink in West Point, NY. Mercyhurst tops Army 3-1 and moves on top of the standing in the Atlantic Hockey Association.
