07 June 2008: An usher or 'yobidashi' holds out a fan and calls out the wrestlers' names prior to a match.The yobidashi's three main jobs are announcing the wrestlers, building the dohyo and beating the drums. Thanks to them, California got to experience the 2008 Grand Sumo Tournament at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.
