07 April 2006: Tony Schumacher, the defending NHRA Top Fuel series champion, was the fastest NHRA Top Fuel qualifier for the 7th Annual SummitRacing.com Nationals on The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada. Schumacher lost in the first round of eliminations.
