Sunday, July 31, 2011: Detroit Tiger's pitcher Justin Verlander heads out to the field to start what would become a 1-hitter against the Los Angeles Angels. Verlander had a no-hitter going into the 8th inning before it was broken up. He and closer Jose Valverde combined for a 1-hitter in the Tiger's 3-2 victory at Comerica Park in Detroit.
