021 October 2006: Notre Dame's Jeff Samardzija (83) not only scored the first touchdown of the game, he also scored the game winning touchdown in the final minute against UCLA. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were able to defeat the visiting UCLA Bruins with a final score of 20-17 on Saturday October 21, 2006 in South Bend Indiana.
