03 January 2007: The Notre Dame's John Carlson (89) finally returned after an injury earlier in the season. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish took on the LSU Tigers in the Sugar Bowl on Wednesday January 3, 2007 in the Super Dome. The Tigers dominated the Fighting Irish with a final score of 41-14.
