04 September 2006: Matt Smith got to keep this year's win after having his win at last year's event taken away a day later because of a timing error. With the win, Matt tied father Ricky Smith (Pro Stock Car driver) for national event wins at two. Smith piloted a bike owned by Geroge Bryce at the 52nd Annual NHRA U.S. Nationals held over the Labor Day weekend at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis.
