20 March 2005: Rochester Americans and the Cleveland Barons test out the blue ice and the new color scheme at the HSBC arena. The experiment has the regular blue lines painted orange, and the red center ice line is dark blue. The faceoff circles were also painted orange. The Americans defeated the Cleveland Barons 2 - 0 at at HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY.
