16 April 2004: Thomas Frischknect (SUI) with Team Swisspower/Scott finished 1st in stage one but fell to fifth place in stage 2 of the MTB Pro/Elite Men's Stage Race. Frischknect was the overall leader by 6 seconds after stage 2 at the Hyundai Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, CA.
