September 5 2009: Penn State wide receiver Derek Moye comes down with a 22-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Daryll Clark with 1:33 left in the first half. The touchdown and ensuing extra point put the Nittany Lions ahead 24-0. Akron defensive back Wayne Cobham defended on the play. The Nittany Lions went on to defeat Akron 31-7 at Beaver Stadium in State College, Pa.
