August 21, 2013: New York Yankees right fielder Ichiro Suzuki (31) reached 4000 career hits on Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium vs the Toronto Blue Jays and joins Pete Rose and Ty Cobb as the only MLB players to reach this milestone. Ichiro collected 1,278 hits in the Japan professional baseball league before switching to Major League Baseball in the United States.
