21 August 2008: Trojans running back C.J. Gable suffered hip and ankle injuries on Tuesday. Gable, a redshirt sophomore who started the 2006 and 2007 openers, sustained a sprained left hip and ankle when he was tackled during a scrimmage drill. White team (1st and 2nd teamers) defeated the Cardinal (reserves) team 28-7 on Thursday.
