28 March 2007: #298 Pierre Bildstein of France pours some water on his head at a check point during fourth and longest stage of the 22nd Marathon des Sables between jebel Zireg and west of Kfiroun (43.8 miles). The Marathon des Sables is a 6 days and 151 miles endurance race with food self sufficiency across the Sahara Desert in Morocco. Each participant must carry his, or her, own backpack containing food, sleeping gear and other material.
