08 October 2016: American Heather Jackson competes on her bicycle during the 2016 Ironman World Championship. Held in Kailua-Kona on the Big island of Hawaii, the event featured more than 2300 competitors from around the world. Jackson finished third overall in the women's division with a time of 9 hours, 11 minutes, and 32 seconds. She became the first American female pro to podium in ten years.
