The ball ended up in the USA net, and the goal was awarded to Larsen Kaurin. The women's Olympic team of Norway defeated the United States women's Olympic soccer team 2-0 at Qinhuangdao Olympic Center Stadium in Qinhuangdao, China in a Group G round-robin match in the Women's Olympic Football competition.
