Texas Tech letterwinner football offensive lineman Don King is inducted into Texas Tech's Hall of Honor and introduced at halftime of Texas Tech's 39-33 defeat of Texas at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, TX. King was named Second-team All-American and First-team All-SWC as a senior in 1968. A team captain as a senior, he was the recipient of Pete Cawthon Award as Team MVP. He was named a Member of Lubbock Avalanche-Journal All-time Tech team and to Dave Campbell
