23 October 2005: Greg Anderson clinched his third consecutive NHRA Powerade Series Pro Stock championship in 2005. Anderson became the first NHRA Pro Stock driver since 1989 to win three consecutive titles. Anderson clinched the title by being the top qualifier for the 5th Annual AC-Delco Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
