16 December 2005: The USA 1 two-man bobsled driven by Steve Holcomb with Brock Kreitzburg on the brakes slide to a second place finish in the Men's World Cup 2-man bobsled at the Olympic Sports Complex in Lake Placid, New York. This was Holcomb's first world cup medal in a race won by Andre Lange with brakeman Kevin Kuske of Germany who retain their overall World Cup lead.
