26 September 2006: Newly constructed Fengtai Softball Stadium, in Beijing, China. The stadium will be the venue for softball matches during the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics and feature state-of-the-art technology, such as high speed internet connections at each seat for the working press. This is the first of the 11 new venues for the games to be completed. Beijing is gearing up its preparations work to be the host of the 29th Summer Olympic Games in 2008.
