24 October 2014: Lauren Holiday (USA). The United States Women's National Team played the Mexico Women's National Team at PPL Park in Chester, Pennsylvania in a 2014 CONCACAF Women's Championship semifinal game, which serves as a qualifying tournament for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. The United States won the game 3-0. With the victory the U.S. advanced to the championship game and qualified for next year's Women's World Cup.
