06 December 2008: Sooners reserve running back Mossis Madu (17) tries to keep his balance after being hit by Tigers safety Kenji Jackson (13). Madu was called on unexpectedly to help carry the load after starter DeMarco Murray was injured on the first play of the game. Madu had over 100 yards and 3 touchdowns. In the Big 12 Championship game the Oklahoma Sooners defeated the Missouri Tigers 61 to 21 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri
