16 December 2005: The Austrian 1 two-man bobsled driven by Wolfgang Stampfer with Michail Lachkovics on the brakes slide to a 5th place finish in the Men's World Cup 2-man bobsled at the Olympic Sports Complex in Lake Placid, New York. The race was won by Andre Lange with brakeman Kevin Kuske of Germany who retain their overall World Cup lead.
