07 February 2009: ISU Athletic Director Dr. Sheahon Zenger watches as ISU President Al Bowman presents Charlotte Lewis's sister a plaque in her honor. Charlotte Lewis was the first All-American in Illinois State University's women's basketball program and a silver medalist in the Olympics Illinois State increased their 1st place lead by beating 2nd place Indiana State by a score of 69-48. The Illinois State University Redbirds hosted the Indiana State University Sycamores on Doug Collins Court inside Redbird Arena on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal Illinois
