30 October 2005: In honor of Halloween, DC United displayed pumpkins carved with the logos and MVPs of their four MLS Cup triumphs. These feature the MLS Cup 1996 (l) and MLS Cup 1997 (r) logos. The Chicago Fire defeated DC United 4-0 at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC in the second leg of their Major League Soccer Eastern Conference Seminfinal series. The Fire eliminated United with the win.
