12 September 2009: Rutgers' freshmen quarterback Tom Savage (7) was 8/13 for 223 yards and three touchdowns for his first start during a NCAA football game between the Rutgers Scarlet Knight and the Howard University Bison at Rutgers Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey. Rutgers beat Howard 45-7.
