15 September 2013: Congresswoman Terri Sewell (Alabama) presents Spike Lee with one of the Congressional Medals of Honor before the showing of Spike Lee's HBO film, 4 Little Girls, at the Alabama Theater in Birmingham, Alabama. Birmingham Mayor William Bell looks on. This program is part of Empowerment Week for the City of Birmingham celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement. The film honors the four girls who were killed in the bombing of Sixteenth Street Baptist Church on September 15th, 1963.
