15 September 2013: Dr. Bernice King, daughter of Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr, Reverend Jesse Jackson , US Attorney General Eric Holder, Alabama Governor Dr. Robert Bentley, Civil Rights Pioneer, Bishop Calvin Woods, Birmingham Mayor William Bell, and others at the memorial service at Sixteenth Street Baptist Church for the girls that were killed in the church bombing on September 15th, 1963. This program is part of Empowerment Week for the City of Birmingham celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement.
