McClellan had just relieved St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jake Westbrook (35). The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 4-1 in the first game of a three-game series on Monday September 5, 2011 at Busch Stadium in downtown St. Louis.
