14 December 2014: Virginia players and coaches pose with the championship trophy and hold up seven fingers signifying the number championships the program has won. The University of Virginia Cavaliers played the University of California Los Angeles Bruins at WakeMed Stadium in Cary, North Carolina in the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's College Cup championship match. Virginia won the championship by winning the penalty kick shootout 4-2 after the game ended in a 0-0 tie after overtime.
