14 December 2014: Virginia's Darius Madison. The University of Virginia Cavaliers played the University of California Los Angeles Bruins at WakeMed Stadium in Cary, North Carolina in the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's College Cup championship match. Virginia won the championship by winning the penalty kick shootout 4-2 after the game ended in a 0-0 tie after overtime.
