Apr 24, 2006; Cloudbreak, Tavarua, Fiji, FIJI; Hawaiian ROCHELLE BALLARD fought through two tough rounds of competition to advance to round three of the Roxy Pro at Cloudbreak, Fiji in epic 4-6 ft waves today. Ballard, renowned for her barrel riding and ability in big, hollow waves, was out of sync in round one, losing out to Samantha Cornish (Aus) and Heather Clark (RSA). The diminutive Hawaiian was sidelined to the losers round two where she dominated against Jacqueline Silva (Brz) and wildcard Caroline Sarran (Fra) to advance to round three. Ballard will face Claire Bevilacqua (Aus) in round three. The Roxy Pro presented by Samsung is the second event on the 2006 women
