May 12, 2006; Teahupoo, Teahupoo, TAHITI; Australian MELANIE REDMAN-CARR (Dunsborough, Western Australia) claimed her third successive victory on the ASP World championship Tour when she won the Billabong Pro at Teahupoo in Tahiti today. Redman-Carr, a former world number two, beat fellow Australian and reigning ASP world champion Chelsea Georgeson (Tweed Heads, NSW) in the final and has extended her massive lead on the ASP World rankings. Equal third in the Billabong Pro went to Australian and six times ASP world champion Layne Beachley (Manly Beach, NSW) and South African Heather Clark (Port Shepstone, KZN).
