23 September 2007: Washington Nationals Manager Manny Acta (in red, left) address the fans in a post-game ceremony removing the plate from RFK Stadium after the final home game for the Nationals in 2007. The game also marked the very last professional baseball game at RFK Stadium and was played against the Philadelphia Phillies at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington, DC. The Nationals defeated the visiting Phillies 5-3 to close out the 2007 home season. The Nationals will open up the 2008 season at Nationals Park, their new facility currently under construction.
