23 September 2007: Washington Nationals Manager Manny Acta (left) and Owner Theodore Lerner (right) hold Home Plate in a post-game ceremony removing the plate from Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium after the final home game for the Nationals in 2007. The game also marked the very last professional baseball game to be held at RFK Stadium having been played against the Philadelphia Phillies in Washington, DC. The Nationals defeated the visiting Phillies 5-3. The Nationals will open up the 2008 season at Nationals Park, their new facility currently under construction.
