Smith managed to catch the ball, but was held for a small gain by the Tampa Bay Buccaneer's linebacker, Barrett Ruud (51). The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Carolina Panthers 20 - 7 in a game played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte NC.
