11 February 2009: 2009 Nissan Cube Krom. the Krom is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder with 122 hp, which is paired with a continuously variable transmission. The 2009 Cube Krom will launch along with the rest of the Cube range in May, but pricing hasn't been released. However, Nissan has said that base Cube models will start at $13,990 plus destination costs. There will be over 40 accessories available for the Krom. The Chicago Auto Show is a charity event of the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) and is held annually at McCormick Place in Chicago Illinois.
