11 February 2009: Lexus IS 350 F-Sport: 2009 LEXUS IS 250/350: A mid-life refreshing is injected into the Lexus 250/350 offerings for '09. Revised front and rear styling, wheels and side mirrors grace the exterior while inside new instrumentation and center console greet you. Underneath suspension and steering get attention and VDM stability control is now standard on the IS 250. Engine availability remains the same as last year with the 250 utilizing a 2.5 liter 204-hp V-6 and the 350 relying on a 306-hp 3.5 liter V-8. Both models are rear wheel drive with all-wheel-drive available for the IS 250. A six speed manual transmission can be had on the 250, as can the six speed automatic with paddle shift sequential shifting, which is standard on the 350.
